Program Overview
Activant monitors and diagnoses a wide variety of device, PC and server issues on customer networks. This service is provided from our remote Network Operations Center (NOC) in Austin. Alerts on customer equipment and networks are gathered at the NOC and forwarded to the appropriate actionable support department in Activant.
Customer devices and servers are proactively monitored to help Activant and our customers' IT staff respond more effectively when problems arise. Activant then monitors the pertinent systems from our NOC in Austin. Activant’s response to alerts on customer systems is defined in the contract. One level of notification is to let the customers' IT staff know when a problem exists. Another level is internal triage of the alert and notification to an Activant support group that a hardware/software issue needs attention for a particular customer. Customers receive monthly reports on issues noted/resolved during the period.
