Complete Functionality For One Low Monthly Fee
An Activant Select solution, which includes training and support, can be acquired for one low monthly fee. The base system includes one cash station and a back office workstation. The Activant Select system can be upgraded to include additional workstations or increased functionality (i.e. Label Printer or Bar Coding) for an additional monthly fee. Customers also have an opportunity to upgrade to a full function Activant Dimensions Canada or other Activant solution should the need arise.
Windows
Activant Select runs under the industry standard operating system Windows®. This provides a number of key benefits to the small and medium sized business operator. For example, many users will already be familiar with Windows from their home PC. In addition, Internet software can be loaded on the same server as Activant Select, providing the store operator with one source for his/her information processing needs.
Communications with Major Hardware Vendor
Activant Select provides electronic communications with your major hardware vendor (CanWel Hardware, TruServ Canada, Grope BMR, IRLY, RONA, and Home Hardware) to allow you to electronically send your orders. In addition you receive your invoices, flyers, price changes and product additions/deletions. Your inventory maintenance couldn’t be easier.
Hardware Protection Plan
All customers will be automatically included in the Hardware Protection Program. This program will provide users who experience problems with any of their hardware components with a fully staged replacement unit which will be couriered by air to their store location. This is a service Activant is very experienced with and is part of our standard program for Activant Select customers. All customers will benefit from the certainty that all hardware components will continue to perform according to the environment they were purchased for or they will be replaced at no additional cost.
Software Support
Activant provides a comprehensive support plan for all users of the Activant Select system. The plan consists of unlimited 1-800 telephone and e-mail support. The software plan is available 24 hours a day / 7 days a week.
Training
One of the key reasons our customers are successful is the ease with which they are able to implement their Activant Select system. This component of the Activant offering is one which sets us apart. For most users, this will consist of on-site and telephone training which will allow store operators to learn key functions of the system and allow them to remain in their stores without incurring lost time away from their store.
