Activant Eagle® for Aftermarket

Central Services

You can manage and control jobber stores from a central warehouse with Activant Central Services, also called “Central Control.” This application gives you the flexibility to establish a “light” or “heavy” level of control from the warehouse. A controlling warehouse generally uses heavy services to manage company-owned stores; independent jobbers can choose a light to heavy service level depending on their relationship with the warehouse.

In general, Central Services enables jobbers to smoothly access the latest inventory levels and instantly place and receive orders for critical parts. They improve efficiency by pulling all the details of needed part numbers from the warehouse system into the Eagle system without human intervention. Dozens of fields are populated instantly and accurately on demand. Controlling warehouses can improve profits by instantly passing along price changes, promotions and forecasts and controlling customer pricing plans and credit worthiness. The warehouse can use automated sales history and forecasting tools to better manage buying decisions.
