AConneX Document Exchange (AConneX DX) is an integrated, internet-based electronic document exchange (EDI) solution that enables distributors to send electronic purchase orders and receive advance shipping notices, and send invoices from manufacturers directly with their Activant business management system.
Traditional methods of communicating purchasing documents between distributors and manufacturer have proven to be costly, inefficient and unreliable. Sending and receiving purchase orders, advanced shipping notices, invoices via traditional methods such as fax, voice-to-voice and e-mail can be time consuming. Furthermore, since the documents are not integrated with a distributor’s business system, they require additional handling and repetitious data entry, which can be labor intensive and error prone.
AConneX helps eliminate these challenges. It is tightly integrated with Activant business management systems, automating the tasks of sending and receiving EDI doucments with manufacturers.
