Activant Names Software Services Executive as Senior Vice President of Professional Services for its Hardlines and Lumber Group

Industry Veteran to Expand Consulting and Training Services

LIVERMORE, CA, May 12, 2009 – Activant Solutions Inc., a leading provider of business management solutions, today announced that George Sui has joined the company as senior vice president of Customer Operations and Professional Services for the Hardlines & Lumber Group. This role was created to further strengthen the company’s customer service and satisfaction and to help customers better leverage Activant’s products and industry experience.

George is an innovative, results-oriented executive who has built his reputation on creating programs that teach customers how to use software to generate greater profits for themselves. George comes to Activant from SAP Public Services, Inc. where he most recently served as vice president of Department of Defense and Intelligence Group Operations. While at SAP, he was instrumental in improving customer service satisfaction. He also brings extensive knowledge from Motiva, Inc., where he was responsible for restructuring and improving the professional services team, and RightWorks Inc. where he increased customer references by 90%. George also served as senior vice president of worldwide consulting operations for PeopleSoft, Inc. George holds a Bachelors Degree in Information Systems from the University of Maryland as well as an MBA from Averett University in Virginia.
