Activant Announces The 2009 Pinnacle Technology Conference In San Diego, April 22-25, 2009

Over 700 Hardlines and Lumber Distributors and Retailers Expected to Attend Industry’s Premier Best Practices Event

LIVERMORE, CA, January 27, 2009 – Activant Solutions Inc., a leading provider of retail and distribution business management solutions, today announced that it will host its annual Pinnacle Technology Conference at the Sheraton San Diego Hotel and Marina in San Diego, California April 22-25, 2009. The conference will bring together the nation’s top hardware, home center, lumber and building material, garden center, farm-home, and pharmacy retailers and dealers for three concentrated days of learning and networking to lay the foundation for the next decade of progress and profits for the participants.

The Pinnacle conference is held each year for Activant customers who want to learn how to better leverage the suite of Activant® products and services to build their businesses and increase profits. In today’s challenging economic times, Activant’s line of business management software solutions can help retailers and distributors identify ways to save costs and operate more efficiently.

• An Executive Track series will feature guest speakers, panel discussions and roundtables on topics that are critical to survival in today’s marketplace. These timely and revealing sessions will focus on best business practices rather than platform-specific applications.
• Activant will premiere the latest Activant products and modules and offer introductory and training classes on the newest features.
• The Pinnacle Technology Fair will showcase Activant and third-party solutions, new technologies, business products, and professional services, including eLearning and consultancy services.
• Customers attending the event can earn Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits by attending Pinnacle classes.
• Activant’s hands-on labs offer help and guidance around specific issues and questions.
