Three Cook’s Pharmacy locations in Kentucky feature full-service pharmacies, hardware, lawn and garden, health and beauty, toys, greeting cards and other variety goods. An Activant customer for more than twenty years, Cook’s relies on its Activant Eagle system to run its retail and back-office operations and uses QS/1 as its Pharmacy Management System. Eagle helps Cook’s control costs and run more efficiently. Margins increased by 10% with the same sales volume, and retail GMROI increased about 1.2%

Walker Drug Stores
In western Colorado and eastern Utah, customers count on the three Walker Drug Stores to get their prescriptions filled and find the variety store items they need. Walker’s uses McKesson Phamaserve for its pharmacy operations and Activant Eagle for everything else. The winning combination of these two systems helps Walker’s succeed in a competitive market. The Business Advisor module provides Walker Drugs with immediate access to information that helps run the business. Walker’s owner asserts that he has insight into his business that he can’t get anywhere else and that he literally couldn’t run the business without that information.
